I met Mike tonight!!!

I was hanging outside Pauley Pavilion by the merchandise booth and who walks by me, none other than Mike fuckin' McCready!!!! I couldn't belive it. He walked up and bought a Who shirt. He was really cool. He took a picture with me and my friend(on my camera phone :(). I thought he would just take off but he hung around for a few minutes and shot the shit with us. I asked if they were doing Bridge this year and said he wasn't sure yet. We also talked about the Hartford and Mansfield shows(the 3 I went to). I told him Hartford was a great show and he said Mansfield II was his favorite. He truly was a great guy. Another reason why I love this band so much, they really do care about their fans.........

    cool. did you tell him to get their collective ass in the studio when EV gets done with the 2nd leg? :)

    Wow, that's awesome. Must have been a bit of a shock to see him walk by and that he stuck around. He seems so nice.

    Thats crazy. We were all standing right there and pretty much just missed this action by a big fat nose hair. Im kinda gladd. I dont know if I could handle being near The Master. I would combust.

    Very jealous. I thought Mike was the highlight last night. LROM was amazing, but honestly I barely looked at Ed. I was hoping to see Mike and Pete Townshend playing together although that might have stopped my heart.

    I had the opportunity to meet Mike at the Mansfield 1 show. He took the time to personally hand out bottles of water to us since it was very hot out. I was truly impressed.

    me too. I think panic would set in. I'd probably start flayling my arms around or something.

    though I have to say if I were going to run into anyone from PJ, I think I'd want it to be mike. he just seems the most chill with talking to fans and stuff, from the stories I've heard.
