On the ending - if we have some suggestions - like maybe a different Timeless Melody, the same I got You....

Personally I would like to consider finishing with Don't be Shy from Boise - but I'm not sure Cameron4President would agree with this

No it is a great song, just listened to the original. The lyrics are beautiful indeed.
Maybe a different version? I listened to Oslo - Norway. That was lovely. The guitar sounded louder, a happier sounding Eddie. Just more alive IMO

The London version is clearer, also very beautiful. Different to Oslo - there is something there, can't quite label it. The ending is beautiful - the long note is great.

I think either one of those - London or Oslo would be great.

I'm quite happy with the Manchester one we've got now.
I find Prague and Oslo maybe slightly more uplifting. For some reason, I find the London one even less cheerful.

Oh and after changing and changing again between I got you and Timeless melody, I reckon I like it best when it ends on the bittersweet feeling of the latter. It fits the overall mood better somehow.

OK! It's impossible to judge on my own. I don't know if this will be a good ending or not. I just find that this is the song which most affects me from that tour currently. There is some talking before it too, which is on the previous track in pearljambootlegs.org, but I haven't listened to the talking for a while. I don't think we need the talking, but it puts the thing in context.

And it took us hours to come to that conclusion.
Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

20 minutes will probably not be enough for me to come up with -possibly- an alternative ending.

I'll listen in the morning. I think part of the lack of changes today is we had already done quite a lot of selecting and comparing on previous days, and have a good tracklist. We don't need to make changes for the sake of it.

As much as I would like to include a great track like "Don't Be Shy" on this compilation, we just can't. I think that what we have currently is great (track list) and we don't need to add another, especially from the US shows. Let's stick to European Tracks only with the lone exception of "Parting Ways".

Besides I was kind of thinking about using that song for the "Riot Act" project next.
