This. Even specific dates, can book flights for those coming from across the pond... Was there talk about camping? Much better, out in the wilderness somewhere...
Great news on the first day back to work!! Looking forward to all the new releases but maybe the festival is a bridge to far for me.... Unless - wife and two kids for sale, fully house trained! Buy now and I'll throw in the dog aswell!! Great news all the same! It really is a happy new year!

Unless the "20th anniversary destination weekend bash sometime in late summer" hits the UK or Europe, I really can't get excited about it.
The re-issues, the film, the book, the soundtrack and the "new, unexpected releases" - I can get excited for.

Pretty cool that there will be a "Pearl Jam Ten" and a "Pearl Jam Twenty".
I suppose that is kinda cool. I had been thinking it's a pretty lame, unimaginitive, name. He's been working on it for about 2 years & that's the best he could come up with?! Hopefully he does something a little more interesting with the movie itself!
Nevertheless.... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
2011 has just gotten interesting...

2011 will be a great year being a Pearl Jam Fan! :thumbup:
-Vs. and Vitalogy reissue in spring, this is something to look foreward to in a close distance.
After what they did to Ten, I can't wait for these releases.
-The film should be fantastic too.
Cameron Crowe is a genius (except the Fixer video).
With a lot of material from the last 20 years, this should be a very emotional journey.
-Since the weekend will be in the US, this is not for me.
But I hope (and I'm sure) it'll be an amazing experience for the fans attending.
Who could be there next to PJ?
AIC, FF, Unle Neil, STP, R.E.M.,...
Dreams might come true...
-The last point, new unexpected releases, really makes me nervous (in the best possible way)!
What could this be?
Might there even be a possibility for a new album later this year?
Anyway, this should be a fantastic year in the Pearl Jam world.
And THANK YOU so much for giving us an overview over the things planed for 2011.
This is great since we now have a big picture for this year, instead of getting the news piece by piece.
Thanks a lot for this announcement, Pearl Jam and 10-C!
- A spring reissue of Vs. and Vitalogy in new, deluxe formats;
Loking forward to it. But I think it will only be the album remastred (brickwalled?), a concert from that era on a second disc and a Vinyl. No DVD.
- The release of Cameron Crowe’s film, Pearl Jam Twenty, along with an accompanying book and soundtrack album;
Sounds cool. Cameron Crowe has made some great films - but he also made that embarrasing The Fixer musicvideo. Maybe it will be too much of a puff piece.
- A 20th anniversary destination weekend bash sometime in late summer;
Cool, but won't be able to go. If it's not in NY or someplace you can fly from Europe to easily.
- Plus a number of special events and new, unexpected releases!
Hmm. Dave A solo album?
