Question for the Poster Experts!

My brother just gave me this very cool b/w poster of Eddie singing and on the bottom it says
"Magnusson Park, Seattle Wa. 6th Sept 1992"
Anybody know the details about the date? According to the tour page on the PJ site, Sept 6th, they were not in Seattle. Was this Drop in the Park concert? It's just something that's bugging me! Thanks!

Well they played the Drop in the Park concert in Magnussen Park on Sept 20th 1992. I am not familiar with that poster but I'm pretty sure it would be a mis-print seeing they weren't even in Seattle on that day.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I just thought that maybe the original date of the concert was supposed to be Sept 6th and I had a special rare poster! Oh well...

Wasn't the DITP show moved? Maybe that was the original date.

I think DITP was moved, I read it in the TEN reissue: Ed's composition book maybe?

I had that same print on my dorm wall in college... can't remember the date on it.

I remember reading somewhere that the concert was moved at the last minute and fans had already turned up. I believe the band walked around the park and personally apologised to the people who had showed up.

The show was going to be at Gasworks Park in Seattle but, the city shut the show down. It was then moved to Magnuson at a later date.

i thought it was cancelled like the same day or a day before the original date, so some fans had already shown up. and then they moved it to a later date or something?

The Drop in the Park concert at Magnuson Park (Seattle) eventually took place on 20 September 1992. It was scheduled for 23 May 1992 but was cancelled by the city government.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure this poster was taken during the Pinkpop concert of that same year (8 June 1992).
Eddie wore a dark brown shirt that day and he had written TIVOLI on it.
