I went up there to see if I could get in, but frankly I didn't feel like paying 250 even it was for charity. So I did the next best thing, I listened to show with about 10-15 other people outside the venue on Amsterdam Avenue. The sound was really good for the songs and there was a small sense of community and a few Ranger fans there as well. The whole thing cost me 3.75 (a slice of pizza and a soda) and was a pretty fun alternative to not getting into the show.

I remember I did a similar thing for my friend's band at a high school battle of the bands when I got thrown out of the building for hitting on the ticket girl.

    But now I've matured.

I was thinking of going down there just to see if I could hear it from outside. But went straight home instead.

    You sound like George Costanza.
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.
