Giving away Boston Bruins PJ jersey

I am giving away a customized Boston Bruins jersey (see photos). My wife ordered this for me for our anniversary but it came with the incorrect lettering and numbering; dual-colored rather than tri-colored, but still a pretty sweet jersey. "Shop NHL.com" sent me a corrected one and told me to give the other one away, which I thought was pretty cool of them, to charity or something of my choice. I know from reading other posts that there are PJ fans who are looking for items that other fans are willing to give up because not all of us are as financially well off. So, I am looking for a PJ/Bruins fan who would wear this jersey with pride. I would prefer to give it to someone who maybe couldn't afford to get one themselves. I'll follow the responses for a few days and will let the lucky person know. P.S. I'll cover the shipping as well.

    this is a really great gesture in a time of economic despair. i have always loved the bruins, and more recently PJ and would be so grateful for this. thanks for people like you.

    I realize that it is tough to post that you would like something given to you because you are struggling financially, so if someone knows of a fan who they could give it to, I would definitely be willing to send it to you if you were going to pass it on.

    My daughter lost a dear friend last year right before Thanksgiving. The school was completely grief stricken, as was the community as a whole. Her high school has about 250 students, 9-12 grades, and the parents of the boy that was lost has now started a RAK group that my daughter is part of. They get together as often as possible, which considering most high school students schedules' is tough. They raked peoples leaves this fall, and tied quilts for the police depts' crisis "gifts" 2 weeks ago. RAK-- Random Act of Kindness

    I would love to ask her if she knows of a needy youth in these times that would appreciate it. If you have other takers or options, by all means let it go to them.

    I love me some bruins and some pearl jam and seeing that me and my wife just had twins who spent 30 days in the hospital, well we're pretty strapped for cash. Can't figure out how to post pics of kids.

    I've got a really good friend who was unemployed for a year and a half, went through retraining and still couldn't find a job. Just when his unemployment was set to expire, he finally got rehired. He's just pulling himself back together and he's humbled me with his refusal of handouts. I've offered him all kinds of help and he's just flat out refused it. A pride kind of thing. Anyway, he's a huge Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics fan and has an excylipedic mind when it comes to sports history and trivia. I'm sure he'd wear it proudly and be forever grateful.
