Boston Bruins & Pearl Jam? drool.gif That is fucking awesome.

Been a Bruins fan since 'the late 80's. My idol was Raymond Bourque. Cam Neely was also my favorite player. If I ever EVER get to see Ulf Samuelsson on the street someday I'm so breaking his legs for what he did to Neely. Andy Moog was my all time favorite goalie. That guy kicked ass!

Biggest mistake the Canucks made was trading away Seabass.

Jersey looks awesome. I'm not a Bruin fan (GO LEAFS GO :D ) This would actually be a very cool Xmas gift to give to my brother. He is also a PJ fan, not as big as me, but a fan none the less.

I was actually telling the people who own a sports store right near where I live the other day, about how many yrs ago when Cam Neely was still playing. I had bought my brother a customized Cam Neely jersey for his birthday 1 yr. Well at one point, I borrowed his jersey when I went out one night (i was suppose to never touch it). We were having chicken wings and I didn't want to get a sauce on it, you know how wings can be messy. I took the jersey off, continued having some beers and left that night without ever putting the jersey back on and forgot it. Of course it wasn't there when I went back the next day to see if anyone would have actually turned it in. I had to tell him what happened. he wasn't very impressed with me. I always told him I would get him another and to this day I still haven't, not very good of me  . Anyways, that was why I was in the sports store this yr, I was actually inquring on the cost of a new. Can't afford it quite at the moment, but I'm looking to finally repay him after all these ys.
So coming across this thread at this moment, I find it very cool and hopefully it might be fate.
Thought it was story I would share.

    Merry Christmas all :D

I'm a Habs fan living in Boston. Sometimes that is hard :( . I get made fun of at hockey practice when I show up wearing my jersey, not to mention I'm female so that's two against me.. Maybe this would help :D . I'm not struggling by any means, but very nice of you to give away.
Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.... (Voltaire)

I was a Habs fan until they traded Roy, followed them when I was 10, his rookie year until he "left"
  • Sorry for the delay in making the decision, but I wanted to try to reach as many people as possible. Anyway, I will be posting my decision tomorrow. Thanks for all the messages and kind words. I'm not sure if I am deserving of the props for this, as I am just simply passing it on. I thought it was a great policy for the NHL store to have in place for incidents like this. Thanks again.

  • And the winner is...KR62675. He has a friend, as you can tell from his post, that he is going to give it to. I wish I had about three or four more of these, as it wasn't easy to decide who to give it to. I basically narrowed it down to four people and randomly chose out of that group. Again, thanks for your interest, and I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year.

Super Cool. I love hockey, I don't get cable so I got to catch games at friends houses. I can't play because I can't skate, but I know I'd love it. By far the best thing about hockey other than it's one of the most strenuous and difficult sports, is the fighting. The league knows it brings fans, so they let 'em. I'd love the jersey and sport it with New England pride  . Thanks for the chance my friend!

Edit: lil late. I'm sure it's going to the right place. thanks again though.

  • My granddad was the team dentist for the Bruins for about 20 years- My dad took me to my first game in 1988 before they tore down the Garden- I was 12. Jay Miller was on the ice for 52 seconds when he got in the first hockey fight I ever saw!! Man, those were the days... The Dad's are all gone now, but they instilled a love for the Bruins that remains.... Thanks for the kind offer. Go Bruins!
