I have scouted out some places, but so far I am the only one that I know of to volunteer. If there isn't anyone else to help, it may just have to be a meet up.

I'm up for whatever. Are there going to be any fundraisers/gatherings for these shows?

Anyone who prefers wine to beer could check out this low-key charmer two blocks away from the Opera House.

You could try Laurel Grill & Bar, on Berkeley Street. Pretty nice place that always has a few vegetarian options -- http://www.laurelgrillandbar.com/

There's also Buddha's Delight in Chinatown (Beach St. & Washington St.). Everything there is vegan, except some of the drinks have milk.

If you don't need to be really close to the Opera House, I would highly recommend an Asian fusion restaurant called Myers + Chang, in the South End. They have a whole separate vegetarian menu. http://www.myersandchang.com/

A more laid-back (i.e. cheaper) alternative is The Other Side cafe on Newbury St, also a couple subway stops from the venue. Very vegan-friendly, good beer selection, but a high concentration of hipster douchebags.

Of course, if you're vegetarian but like seafood, there are a million more places to eat in Boston.
*Does not include encore of Garden and Leash.
