That is a man who is uncomfortable with the stipends of fame and
    success.
you see how fast he ran away?

love listening to some of the comments in the background.

"i'm not taking pictures" as she continues to take his picture.
    "cool jacket Eddie"
"who is he?" "what kind of music does he have?"

What's with the security guard -or whatever he is-waving at the camera? The photographer has to say that she's not taping.
Is filming Ed in public places not allowed? I get the no filming at shows rule, but outside in a public place....?

if he takes the time to take one pic with one fan, then he'd have to do it with all the fans, just my opinion.

that's true. I'm sure Ed just told them "No pics" so they are just doing their job. Who knows????

Edit: Actually, I bet it was a camera phone and the Sec guard probably thought that the person was snapping pics because they said "I'm not taking pictures"

Yeah, that might be it. But that leads to another question. Why would it be ok to film Ed, but not take his picture? As long as you don't bug him and ask to be photographed with him.
Anyways, it's cool that he even takes the time to sign stuff. Hell, if I were famous, I would just throw fans a fistfull of pre-signed postcards and get the fuck out of there! :D

I bet they didn't know they were filming him if the person was using their phone- no red light- no noise. Again, just my opinion

Remember that time...when you played in Hawaii with U2...and you sang with Bono........that was awesome.

Haha! Same for me! I was waiting for him to sing too. It would be cool if he took photos with fans, although it would definitely get out of hand? I have pictures with a few famous-ish people. Gary Lightbody, lead singer of Snow Patrol, a couple members of Lifehouse seperately at different shows (I know Lifehouse is lame these days, but at the time, they were all the rage ;)). Although none of the people are as famous as Eddie, obviously, I still think it would be cool to get a picture with him :). I'd blow it up like ten thousand times and cover an entire wall of my room in it... although I guess that kind of creepiness is exactly why he doesn't do that photos-with-fans thing, haha.

We gotta draw the line somewhere. You don't film your dentist walking down the street. You shouldn't film the guy you see in concert walking down the street either.

as much as I want to meet Ed, I totally would not want to do it this way. i'd like it to be by chance which would be a lot harder, but i can still hope :)
