    not sure if you're only looking for shows on HBO & showtime...

    I am currently watching Mad Men season 2 on Netflix and it's pretty good. worth checking out if you haven't seen it
  • If you liked Lucky Louie on HBO check out Louie on FX. Or watch Eastbound and Down again or get Season 1 DVD with outtakes, deleted scenes, etc. Really good.

    Its not HBO or showtime, but is every bit as good. Breaking Bad on AMC is another great one

    Yeah I will go with this too it is not HBO or Showtime but AMC is going for a similar drama style that you normally only get away with on HBO or Showtime.

    I've only watched season one but I enjoyed it.

    love dexter...just seems there's been a lot of holes in the plot this year. it is suspenseful as hell though.

    The Wire. Fantastic show. Seasons 3 and 4 were some of the best TV I have ever seen.

    I'm still working on season 2...it's good, but no way in hell it's better than the Wire. That is by far the best show of all time

    very true, but I'm hoping they did it on purpose - to really bring it all together int he last few episodes
