ok so i'm not gonna read the last 60 pages of this nonsense especially since it seems like the usual suspects are sharing there expert opinions on how to run a rock band's fan club so can someone update me here...there has been no announcement? any word from 10c as to what happened? and why do i really give a shit?

I know there was no time frame announced and that they dont HAVE to say anything or that they may not know what they can say, but that doesnt mean they cant say SOMETHING.
I for one have not sat by my computer for three straight days - I check back periodically. But i know many people have and its a little rude to allow them to just sit there.
If they cant give specifics for any number of reasons all they have to do is say something like . . .We apologize for the wait, were working on it and should know soon. Or they could just give a date several days from now when they will be able to reveal whatever it is.
People wait for hours upon days on here to get information on THIS band. To say they dont owe us anything is a little off base considering they collect money from all of us every year. Getting peoples hopes up and then sitting back and watching as they all become frustrated and upset is kind of ridiculous.

See the answers I would have if I were Ten Club. Then again, if I were an employee of the Ten Club, and had answers, I sure as hell wouldn't tell my clients, as my boss wouldn't let me.

A: If we have no information to give, we should not mislead our clients, and get their hopes up. Or, if we thought we had info we could give, we could simply tell our clients that things have changed, and we apologize but are incapable of saying anything more. That would keep people happy!

Based on the way we have done sales in the past, we have put the idea in our clients' heads that they should constantly monitor this site if they don't want to miss an opportunity. I disagree. You are a paying member of Ten Club, LLC. Thus, you are a client, and Ten Club is a limited liability company - I'd call it a business for short though.

No, plus Eddie Vedder would not boost the pre-sale, they announce the lineup in full every Feb. if they are announcing a pre headliner (which they won't) it would be 1 of the Jam bands (phish,furthur). I do think Vedder may play a stage, especially if Neil Young is there, Im sure he would be all for that. The specualtion on the inforoo board is def. positive for Eddie. I cannot see Pearl Jam headlining Bonnaroo again this year...too soon
