A Fan Club is a business. I wouldn't say it was a business back in 1991 but it has turned into that. It pretty much had to. Whenever you sell $400 jackets and sock and charge $20 to be a member, it's a business. I think it is even registered as a LLC if I remember correctly.

This is a business. To reiterate, why on earth do we forgive this business for crap communication when we wouldn't take it from a non-music-related business? I personally don't get it when anyone feels the need to sit down and shut up, rather than bring up legitimate arguments, in order to... what, not make the band cry?

To add to that, why is the 10C's president/manager/higher-up/I don't really care what you call him, posting about delayed shipping dates rather than addressing 200+ pages of confused/unhappy customers?

Seems like things are cooling down. It's already 12pm, the same time when an announcement mostly goes down and there's less then 300 fan's online. :shock: Monday this time of day there were 800+ fan's online refreshing & waiting to see what the new's will be. Yesterday was pretty packed too but not like Monday. Seeing that today lot of fan's are traveling to their parents or loved one's for tomorrow's Thanksgiving din din, don't see an announcement happening today or tomorrow. Maybe 'Black Friday' but doubt ticket's will go on sale that day with 'Black Friday' discounts! :P

Yes, a business that's not required to tell us shit, and if they do, it's extra for us. So be thankful for what they do communicate.

It's just I don't get it.

With a real company, such as Coca-Cola, would you guys interpret what they say? Obviously, we have to deal with more exacerbated feelings only because people here are fans.

Never seen coca-cola fans or Nike fans, at least in France.

Its not that tough, but at the same time, you'd be in the same place you were 2 minutes ago. You wouldnt know anything. I feel confident that they are working on something and the details arent settled yet. Once they know, they will throw that info to this rabid pack of wolves!

you're not wrong. But I am not sure Coke would press release an annoucement, not make it and then not speak to the issue while their customers asked. It's called PR and spin. ya ... exactly ... you will find out when everyone else finds out ... ask for the contents before the press release and they will tell you to wait ...

like i said before, it's likely they aren't sure when they can announce ... if they don't know exactly - what point is there to say? ... i would assume they are close to finalizing hence the tweet however, who knows what's holding it up and when it will be resolved ... could be in an hour ... could be in the next day or so ...
