During Mr. Tim's interview today, please for the love of god someone ask Tim to please go back to business school and study harder. I realize that he may not have any information to give, or he will give it when it is time and nobody ever said when or if anything was going to be announced. But he is president of this so called business known as the 10club and he needs to learn to answer his clients questions in a timely manner. What really sucks is we will never hear what the delay was or even a SORRY FOLKS!!! for not answering said questions. HEY TIM, YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE ASKING QUESTIONS, ANSWER THEM!!!!!!!!

Also, 10C thank you for having very reasonable shipping rates for us members, I belong to other fan clubs and often times the shipping rates are almost as much as the merch itself.

er....eehhhheeemmmm.. Mr. Tim did make it clear that he is NOT the President, however he did say that he IS the Manager..when called the President during last week's show.
and i think they also make it pretty clear that they don't intend to mess around with any show or other such announcements...
so we have to be patient

email any company and ask them what their latest plan is? ... ask coke if they have any new products they are thinking of going to market with and see what there response would be ...
if you are asking about the tour - you'll get the information when everyone else does ... flooding them with emails all about the same thing will only accomplish one thing - which is make it more likely that someone else's email that might be of a different nature will also be ignored ...
and to clarify - similar to what bill crosby wrote a few pages back ... i'm not looking to pick a fight ... just presenting another side to this ...
if this is indeed a tour announcement - you have to appreciate that there are many parties involved and that timing is critical for some entities ... anything that gets leaked here WILL make it to press and it is likely they are avoiding it ...

you're not wrong. But I am not sure Coke would press release an annoucement, not make it and then not speak to the issue while their customers asked. It's called PR and spin. If there's an issue, they should spin it. If there's no issue, why the heck did they Tweet. It's not like this all started from a leak on the Crowded House forums.
I actually spoke with the 10 Club last year after they had issues with something I said. I brought up this very issue but more so in regards to not talking about tour dates. People were begging for not necessarily tour dates but just some word as to if they were definitely touring and a rough estimate of where and the Ten Club wouldn't say a word. They said because of promoters and logistics, they wouldn't announce dates before they were 100% finalized. I get that, as do all of you I assume.
I then explained to them that even just a little info, like where they were thinking of touring geographically, would calm everyone down and be extremely appreciated. I told him the lack of information drives us nuts. Within about 20 minutes of the end of the phone call, they posted this:
So maybe if enough people email the ten club, they will address the issue. This has nothing to do with the Tweet really....it's more of a moving forward could you please communicate with us (ie at least tell us when to expect the tweet news so people don't refresh all day). There was a huge rumor pit thread someone started a few months ago with questions that seemingly wouldn't need management approval to answer and they wouldn't answer a single question. (edit...someone posted a link to that above) Please 10 Club, communicate with us. Can't you see that you drive people nuts??

You are all missing the point. We as customers have asked questions, at least come on here and say we have no information at this time. Im not asking for insider info on a tour, product or announcements. We have 162 pages of people wondering. A thread was just locked, someone is working today. A Fan Club is a business. I wouldn't say it was a business back in 1991 but it has turned into that. It pretty much had to. Whenever you sell $400 jackets and sock and charge $20 to be a member, it's a business. I think it is even registered as a LLC if I remember correctly.

Seeing that today lot of fan's are traveling to their parents or loved one's for tomorrow's Thanksgiving din din, don't see an announcement happening today or tomorrow. Maybe 'Black Friday' but doubt ticket's will go on sale that day with 'Black Friday' discounts! :P
