Sounds good..But, when is the last time the 10c gave any fan club member something free?...I can only see it being the xmas single..But, I can't see the 10c making such a big deal over the xmas single..

Well they recently did the mystery bag and the mystery single thing. They certainly didn't make a profit on those sales. So they might have started to become generous. (By the way, I think the membership is good value for money as it is, the single and the magazine alone would cover the fee, and then there's all the thing 10C organizes and arranges)

Maybe it's some generous gift to kick-off the 20 year anniversary year..

Well going on previous history the Bluesfest 2nd announcement should be on Monday here/Sunday Seattle. With the US having a couple of days off it probably warranted an early tweet. E.K, let's will on Bluesfest and a National Tour - our positive thoughts will make it happen!
• what sort of artists play at this "blues fest"? Am I right/wrong to assume they are not all "blues artists"?

I've never been, but it sounds great....

Bluesfest 2011

It's a Blues & Roots festival but over the years it's tended to incorporate more genres. 5 Day festival. Pretty laid back and cruisy which goes inline with it being in Byron Bay. Most of the time it doesn't really matter who plays you'll have a great time. In honesty the best moment i've had there (only been once) was watching some random old blues man from the States. His stage was not as crowded and he really just laid down the blues and got the place feeling his vibes. I'd suggest it to anyone - from my point of view one of the better festivals - just damn expensive at that time of year. If you travel as a couple, stay somewhere half decent, fly there, eat/drink etc for a good 6 nights or so and your bank balance cops a whack! Well worth it though. :)

If I Only Had A Brain

(Scarecrow)
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain

I'd unravel any riddle
For any individ'le
In trouble or in pain

(Dorothy)
With the thoughts you'd be thinkin'
You could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain

(Scarecrow)
Oh, I would tell you why
The ocean's near the shore
I could think of things I never thunk before
And then I'd sit and think some more

I would not be just a nuffin'
My head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a ding-a-derry
If I only had a brain

What's the Scarecrow's song? Is that a wizard of Oz reference? One man stands alone is a Force of nature reference. And that we have to make sure our memberships are up to date and our adresses are correct implies that we will be receiving something. And the fact that there isn't a second batch of mystery bags yet could tell us that they are busy getting that shipment ready?

Just guessing ofcourse.. :P

I saw some of our American friends complaining about spending $70 to see them. That's fkn half the price we paid

 They'd fucking complain if tickets were $25! They always find something to bitch about.

they DID complain when it was for WM3 remember?
haha! some people are spoiled! give us shows instead, we won't complain :D
• That would be excellent..But, why would we need to have our memberships renewed for that?...

Jeremy
I'm not sure, maybe they are sending every member a free copy of the C-D. ;)
I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening?...Pearl Jam and 10c are all about the money now...If anything?..Which I can understtand since they are on their own now..They should send everyone a free copy of the live on 10 legs cd..

I have to disagree with you about PJ being all about the money. These guys do so much good in the world. PJ just doesn't equal greed.

Not bad TenClub...
You effortlessly post a couple tweets and send all the fans into an uncontrollable but predictable reaction mode. You certainly must have known the A-typical reaction from the average "Jammer" on this board..I wonder if they're even aware they're being so manipulated..haha. Keep at it and maybe we can play chess sometime soon;)

My money is still on a tour of a southern hemispherical continent, but not exclusive to OZ..

Tomorrow?!?....ha, see you..

It must be something big (pearl jam) bc no one gives a crap about an eddie solo tour. They would of broke the news if it was eddie by himself already bc no one cares about eddie solo shows
