there will be several replays through the week. what's it consist of? we'll be winging it and opening it up to you guys for the first one, then we'll have topics to focus on from there on out. Philly Spectrum will be the focus on 11/24 as they're currently tearing the place down.

I won't be able to listen at 5 p.m. today. Please post when it will be replayed. Hopefully on the weekend. :)

but that's my question to you!

Must be the global economic downturn. Can't think of any other explanation.

That is interesting info. Thanks for the explanation. I wasn't certain if the online and Sirius versions were the same, but I suspected that space would be a limiting factor due to the huge number of recordings in the PJ catalog (live and studio). I can appreciate the challenge in trying to appeal to both hardcore and casual fans. A friend of mine who is a casual fan observed this repetitiveness as well, which was part of my motivation in digging a little deeper. He first noticed it after a full length concert was played, when a song that had just been played in the concert was followed pretty quickly (within an hour) by the same song. It may have been a different version but he was sort of turned off by hearing the same song so quickly. Does the program that determine the playlist consider previously played song titles as well as song versions in determining which song to play next?

That is my #1 pet peeve and steps have been taken to make sure that doesn't happen again. There is definitely a song hour separation in effect, and when he heard that it might have been in the very early going before some programming rules were in place.

just an FYI as I'm not sure if the new programming has taken effect yet, but last night about 10pm Eastern Time - Porch played back to back (Live 2010 / Live 1994)
    I've met Rob

"THERE ARE NO CLIQUES, ONLY THOSE WHO DON'T JOIN THE FUN" - Empty circa 2015

    "Kfsbho&$thncds" - F Me In the Brain - circa 2015
  • Can anyone help me out?

I was just listening to Pearl Jam Radio on Sirius/XM (about 3:45PM CST on 11/17/10). They played a brief "This is Pearl Jam Radio" promo and it was a snippet of "Alive" from a concert. The crowd was singing the song instead of Eddie.

Does anyone know what concert that is from? There are probably mutlipe shows where that happened . . .

    Thank you!
    You will try.
  • That's from the Lollapalooza show in Chicago in 2007.

  • So I had a rental car and I hopped in, super pumped because it had satellite radio. I quickly found Pearl Jam radio. I turned it on and a London show was on. I was pumped. Listened to it for a couple hrs, it was the greatest thing ever!!

I swear it said "JAM ON" as the station name. Car goes back end of day. Then a week later I got another car, searched for channel, found "JAM ON" and again was jacked....However no pearl jam, notta. just random bands, no Dj talk nothin. I was sure I was going to purchase this but now I'm not sure. What's the deal...?

I listened throughout the day Monday and Tues past and no pearl jam songs, is this the norm, am I losing it, what's wrong with me....anyone out there have it, help!!
