Strangest Tribe live

Last night I couldn't sleep and my mind started musing ...

Is there a reason why Strangest Tribe has never been played live?

I just love that song (do you also hear that gulp sound in the beginning?) and I imagine it must be amazing to hear that one live for once. Even if it has to be as a "second hand experience" with headphones :shifty:

i think its like Other side...they play it first time after 19 years live for first time..with no reason...or

I've been hoping for the live airing of this song ever since I first heard it. It's not some super-weird quirky one like "Bugs" or "Happy When I'm Crying," ones you can understand why they don't play them often (or at all). But "Strangest Tribe" seems like it would be an amazing live tune, when they want to get all chilled and atmospheric. Here's hoping!!!

Cool sounding tune. Maybe there are parts that are too hard for the amount of rehearsal that they like to do.

I also thought that may be the reason, but there are other songs that seem much more difficult to play live. Let's hope!

I think that vocal harmony really makes the song, and that's kinduva weak point in the band. I'm sure they could pull it off well enough to appease us fans, but they prolly just don't feel like relearnin the song.

It'll prolly eventually get played. I just hope they learn it well enough as to not fuck it up too bad.
