I just bought this CD and was wondering if anyone else has it or heard of it? It's Called Pearl Jam Pearls of Wisdom Demos and Rarities. It's got 18 tracks on it and they are
1. Evenflow demo
2. Once demo
3. Breath demo
4. Release demo
5. Girl demo
6. Alive demo
7. Alone demo
8. Hold Your Head Up demo Rod Argent
9. Mystery demo
10. Master of War live 'Bob Fest' 1992 Bob Dylan
11. Going Down with the xpensive winos 1992 Don Nix
12. Rockin' in the Free World live 1992 Neil Young
13. I've Got A Feeling live 1992 Lennon/McCartney
14. No live 1992
15. Drop the Leash live 1992
16 My Generation live 1992 Pete Townsend

I've never heard some of these songs before, like Mystery, and never heard them cover I've Got A Feeling before. The Hold Your Head Up cover is not sung by Eddie, I don't think. It sure doesn't sound like him. All the demos are pretty rough and kinda slow.
Does anyone else have this CD or heard it before?

I've never seen or heard of this CD before..perhaps someone else has..anyone?!?
I suspect the I've Got a Feeling cover is the much celebrated '92 Den Haag version. Love it.

As far as Mystery..no idea. I'll have some time this weekend so maybe I'll search around..

Yes, I owned this cd years and years ago. It's a good one as far as early tracks and demos go. "Hold your head up" is an Andy Wood track, possibly early Mother Love Bone if I remember correctly. "Mystery" is a Bad Radio song I think, and the rest are just demos and live tracks. "I got a feeling" was featured on the first "Alive" demo tape released by Epic records, although I've heard different versions. "More Pearls of Wisdom" is another good vs/vitalogy era bootleg, but not as good as this one. I miss endlessly searching for bootlegs and import cds with new and bonus tracks, downloading everything takes anyway from the surprise of going into a second-hand record store these days. You got yourself a good one there my friend, enjoy! ;)
  • There was a sequel released to this bootleg called (unsurprisingly) "More Pearls of Wisdom". You can find it - along with a ton of other old school bootlegs - here:

    enjoy! :-)
  • Thanks everyone. I was really excited to find this one. I will check out the gremmie.net site for the seqel. I forgot about that one, haven't been on there in months.
I've only been able to listen to this CD once so I'm gonna bring it to work tomorrow and listen some more.
