Lizardking wrote:Strange, why not just us USPS for the whole thing, mine went from Seattle down the highway past my house 50 miles South and then traveled back to 5 miles North of me to get dropped by my Mailman tomorrow? Why not just ship USPS? 10C you guys are a rare breed.
At least you were lucky. I'm in the Portland area, and mine went 100 miles south to Eugene. Then on the actual tracking it says, "shipment arrived at incorrect facility". Then instead of just sending it to the next step (portland area), they sent it back to the correct facility in Chehalis, WA. (about 75 miles north of me). So it's already gone past me twice, and now it has to come back to Portland, and I probably won't see it until Monday.
Everything else I order (before the Ames book) from the 10c came USPS, and I get it in 1-2 days (even if it's not priority). Would it really cost that much more to send it that way? Hell, media rate would cost under $3, and I would have it today. I'm hoping this DHL thing is just a trial thing, and it won't last.0 -

Shipping to Australia is really weird......everyone says the same thing here..
Items that are ordered online elsewhere and off ebay that ship to Australia the postage is less than 10c postage fees and can arrive anywhere from 3-10 days. But for some reason 10c itmes always take 6 weeks..whats the go...?? Seems strange....Im not sure about vinyl but for other merch I have purchased the items are marked Sweden anyone know why???0 -
I just want to say that I got it!! It was waiting for me on my front Porch when I got home fro work!!!
It is on it's second spin as I type!!! It sounds fantastic!!!0 -

I got it from aural exploits just now!
They sent in a gift with a rare blue vinyl record numbered 27/300 by the band called Helen Stellar.
The ITW vinyl - whoa!! Beautiful!!! It's too beautiful to unwrap.... so I'll let Bobby have the honors to do that. It's really big! I thought it'd be a 7" vinyl? I didn't see a book, either. Is it inside the wrapped vinyl cover?
Bobby didn't know I was ordering one.
Nice surprise, eh?
Actually I was afraid to tell him 'cause of our tight budget. :-/
Good luck to those for tomorrow!
I'm not going to get one as a collection because I realize how difficult it is for some folks. :(JA: Why do I get the Ticketmaster question?
EV: It's your band.

Just like Benaroya Hall went down in price right?0 -

What is different? Supply or demand? We don't have pressing information so if there is more supply of ITW than Benaroya then you may be right? More demand for Benaroya? That may be true too, Those are Pearl Jam as opposed to Eddie solo. But then ITW is a much finer package.
I just have a hard time believing the forum speculation. If you listened to what people say here then you would miss out on some good stuff. Even when we got the email that this was going to be a super limited edition people posted it would be easy to get. People then began saying not to worry it'll be available in stores. There have been maybe 10-12 people who have posted they found it in stores. All we have to go by is a previous limited edition release.
I'm curious what other vinyl have been described as limited edition other than Benaroya?
Price will drop as those people who had multiple copies begin to sell them. Then price will rise again. It may not be Benaroya but it's not going to be $40-$50. Just my opinion which is probably as helpful as all the other ITW conjecture/predictions. Time will tell.0 -

ITW prob had a larger production run, as it was sold to both the 10C and retail outlets.
Packaging: Benny didnt have any extras/booklets, but the packaging/presentation was still nicer. Hard Cover LP holder, poster, wine colored vinyl.
The ITW packaging is nice as well, the booklet the highlight for me, beautiful pictures, nice foreward by Penn.
But overall ITW cannot touch Benaroya. And so you see, I have come to doubt
