    Letting my kids buy one new Ornament for the tree.
    My Mom did it with us...when we moved out we all had enough ornaments for our own tree.

    We're not great cooks, I'm afraid. But I can create an entirely from scratch Thanksgiving dinner that would blow you away, complete with juniper brined roast turkey. It's my one culinary effort for the year.

    Mr. Unlost makes a nice mac and cheese.

    I learned yesterday they are like Yorkshire Puddings ... I only know one way of making Yorkshire Puddings (although we make different shapes/sizes)

    Yep... Place across the street in the last apartment building I lived in Manhattan was called Popovers... A weekend stopover was madatory on the way home with lox and bagels...
