haven't they released this stuff several times already? I mean who doesn't have live PJ albums from the past 7 years...?
I'm sure lots of people don't. Like I said already, there are a lot more people who like Pearl Jam not in the 10C than are, and for them, rather than stocking up on boots of every damn show like us crazies, a live sampler is perfect.

Plus, what if there are tracks from 2004 or 2007? They've never been released. Probably not, but who knows?

Seems like it will be a perfect companion piece to LO2L- no repeated tracks between the two. Plus, I'm sure the sound quality will surpass anything live they've released since LO2L. I look forward to it...

Four points to consider. One of which eyedclaar already made above.

    1. LO10L is a companion piece to LOTL. As such it should naturally cover the years post 1998 when LOTL was recorded. (Yes. I am aware that LOTL included only material recorded in 1998 and nothing from earlier tours.)

    2. What if (and I'm not saying I know anything or have any inside information, but what if) this is the first of a few different releases for the 2011 year?

    3. I don't have all of their bootlegs. I'm sure there are more fans out there like me than there are that have all of the bootlegs. What a cool way to release some live music.

    4. Vinyl regrets. Every time I come on this board I see people claiming that they have to pay triple digit numbers for PJ vinyl. I guess the market demands that. Wouldn't it be nice if everybody who wanted to get some PJ vinyl but couldn't afford to pay triple digit prices had another chance? I think so.

  • i think it's great. for those complaining that it only covers the last 10 years, remember that we already have live on two legs so it would seem a waste of time for pearl jam to do the same thing again. next year is going to be very exciting. pearl jam are going to remaster and re-release all of their old albums like they've already done with ten. live on ten legs in simply the next phase in the plan. it will all culminate in a movie directed by cameron crowe.

for those of you who hate it, it sucks to be you. have fun now.

When I see PJ releasing another live album it reminds of what I think when I see that Aerosmith is releasing another greatest hits album...haven't they released this stuff several times already? I mean who doesn't have live PJ albums from the past 7 years, and why 7 years anyway? Is that because the first one covered the first 7 years and TB2000 covered up to 2000? Come on, release some unreleased shit, where are all the songs from the Lost Dogs booklet that you can read on the reals that have never been released?

It's actually 8 years. haha
