A bit too expensive for me...
  • I just saw the tread, went over to the goods section, and see it's $369! Holy shit. It looks really badass, and I'd love to have it, but man, that's pricey. Good think I don't snowboard. I'd wear it out to shovel and drink irish coffees by the fire pit.

  • Although I will not buy this, I want to point out that professional snowboard gear is generally in this price range, if not even more expensive. However, I doubt serious boarders would actually go for this, so the target audience doesn't quite match the pricing here. It's probably good quality either way.

What does Warmth Rating: 4 mean?
  • It means Iowa winters are way too cold for this f-ing jacket. I almost pulled the trigger through the Sessions guy a few weeks ago, and then said, "$400? WTF am I doing?" I think it's a great idea, but needs to be way more affordable. Do they make one without the built in speakers? That might be where the expense comes from. Don't snowboard and as much as I like Pearl Jam, I don't need to hear "Driftin" blasting on 11 as I'm shoveling the 6 foot snow "drift" in my driveway.

$400 seems like a lot, but its not that high priced for a technical outer shell.

Especially for a highly waterproof one that comes with a speaker system and human lojack.

Will the 'HOODIE' coupon code work for this?

Way too pricey for my blood. I have a snowboarding jacket I bought a few years ago from Pacific Sunwear and I thought the $90 I paid for it was a little pricey.

Besides, I usually wear a Carhartt to work and heavy sweatshirts on the weekends during the winter anyways.

i must admit, i paid nearly this much for my winter coat, would have paid more if i hadn't been able to use the open a store credit card and save 20% method.

  • Cool idea. Too expansive for me.

And the backspacer theme is to ugly for 400dollars. Could have used a cooler PJ themed design.

I'm about to pull the trigger...

Been seeing these for six months wondering when someone would sell them.

(edit: Just kidding. I told my wife there was a new PJ coat and I was going to buy it. She told me to put it in the cart before they dissappear! Then I showed her the price. No Coat this time around.)

  • Its totally worth it if you ever have to use this part of the item description. If they have to find you in 6' of snow just once it pays for itself.
