This may be a dumb question..but is the Canadian lineup the same as the American? I don't see a channel 39 in the listings on the Canadian XM site...just trying to make sure that we are going to get it as well ;-)
Edit: Uh-Oh! Sirius and XM are still two different companies in Canada! What does this mean to us Canadian XM subscribers? No PJ Radio? Tell me it isn't so!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with XM Canada, they had no idea what Pearl Jam Radio even was. It's not looking good.
So, last November I signed myself and my favorite girl in the world up for Sirius and within two weeks of having it my lab jumped in the truck and busted my adapter. I got a new adapter and within a couple of months after that he busted it again and girly has had lots of fun giving me shit about not being able to listen and being so dumb for paying for something I'm not using.
Well, news of this came yesterday and as we were talking last night she informed me that her cigarette lighters have suddenly ceased to work in her car...that I can have her adapter...she said God must be punishing her for giving me so much hell...kind of weird that her lighters stopped working on the day I heard about this
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

This is truly GREAT, GREAT news but does anyone know how to get this through the Sirius/XM iPhone App? The Press Release says it will be available through the App but the Chanel isn't showing in the Chanel List in my App (yet). Will the Chanel just appear in the App at 6:00 ET? Do I have to delete then reinstall the App? Or does Sirius/XM have to do an App Update to add the Chanel to the App? HELP HELP!! Guess the only other problem after this is what to listen to and when... Pearl Jam Radio? Sirius/XM Pearl Jam Radio? Bootlegs? Albums? Guess it's a good problem to have
Update: Just got off the phone with Sirius/XM... Rep told me to Log Out of the App after 6:00 ET, then Log back In and Chanel 17 should appear in the Chanel Lineup. NICE!!

Sadly, this isn't surprising me. Pearl Jam peeps..I see that XM Canada and Sirius Canada share 'some' channels. Any way Pearl Jam can be on that roster? Problem for me is the XM receiver is built into my car...so very handy. Anyway...looks like XM Canada is out of the loop on this one. Will have to just be content with the online app at home (which is still great!)
This will be the first time my receiver moves from 100/101 in a long time. Not that I don't like the other content. The hair band station and old school hip hop are awesome. However, I have found that the sound quality is horrendous. I realize the music is digitized for transmission, but it sounds like a really bad CD rip. I'm not sure why that is. Yes, I realize a car is not a perfect listening environment, but the broadcasts are bad. A coworker of mine in Canada says his sounds good, and I remember that being the case in his car. I wonder if it is a function of the Sirius receiver?

Fabulous news! My wife has Sirius in her car. Tonight, we are heading to her Mother's house about 2 hours away. I hope she is ready for 2 straight hours of PJ. And if she isn't, I can drop her off at the train station.

I actually cancelled my account in September, they reactivated it with the promo. Better than the 13 bucks a month I was payin
