Got my CD in the mail today. I have to say I am disappointed. It is cheap packaging and a CDr just like the recent PJ boots.
Was expecting something a little more professional...this is Jack's album, not a bootleg for crying out loud. Attention Dimension is way nicer and is an actual CD.
Don't know why they did this...
That being said, I haven't listened yet so I hope it's great to kind of recover from the initial disappointment.
Say whaaaaaaaaaa???
Live show's, bootlegs & what not, I won't mind audio pressed on CDR's. But official studio work? I'm not happy. Imagine if the next Pearl Jam record will be released on CDR only & not on silver CD. Would everybody be ok with that. I sure will not.
When I heard the first solo album I was blown away. It became one of my favourite albums of all time.As for packaging, I can't say i really care when the music is great. Moon tune grabbed me first. Right between the ears, doubloons, sonic tonic and basically everything except the alains vocal track are awesome. Even love is all we want is amazing in my opinion. I feel fortunate to have recieved this gem.
