He's a heavy duty equipment mechanic in the mines.

Do you still have friends from high school?

    Yes,

Do you contact them? Are they glad to hear from you?

hahahahhahahhahhaa.........hell no, I was so shy and quiet. By the time I was a senior I was getting invited to all the 'hottest' parties for some reason. :?

Glad that you are in a position to say, "IN YO FACE FUCKAH!" now...must feel really good :D (in your head, not literally...well maybe   )

There are a few people I wouldn't mind seeing again, but they are the ones who hated high school, so no point in going to a reunion!

Have you gone to any of your reunions?

  • Nope... but I did go to a pre-reunion party...
Only 20 people showed ... lame
Passed on my 25th reunion... a couple of years ago...

    You?

We don't do reunions ... in the same way we don't do proms or graduations ;)

Could you have done without prom or graduation?
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Yes, hated all the drama of prom...graduation was ok, I liked the afterparty they hosted....cruise around Lake Washington!

BD: no, I was pondering the 10 year and it was going to be held at a bar...so I was gonna go and sit on the other side of the bar and see if anybody I wanted to bother talking to showed up. Then 3 weeks before it was going to happen, they changed the venue to the Space Needle, and tickets were like $75, I didn't want to pay that much money to be stuck with people I don't like...so I skipped it. If I was super successful, or married to Eddie Vedder, then I might think about going.....my school was VERY materialistic.

Do you feel like the friends you have now are better than the ones you had back then?

  • Oh much better... but I keep them small... I really only have material time for my kids

How many "true" friends would you say you have?

a few...I can't stand the drama girls stir up, so I keep a certain 'distance'.

Did you seem to make less friends as your family grew or did you seem to make more friends?

  • Less for sure...
I can honestly say that besides my wife, I only have one true friend at the moment, which works for me...
Got a lot of good people in my life but I don't speak to any of them often...

What's the farthest you have gone for a friend?

I let them stay at my house when she was preparing to move back home in Texas. I was living at home at the time (getting out of a bad relationship). She lived there for like 4 months, I also stored a bunch of her stuff as well. She moved, and I never heard from her again....the letters her boyfriend sent from jail were interesting! :o
