I'm great actually. Had my special class all day yesterday and all day today. My mind is salient right now. So much absorbed the last 48 hours that my brain is like Gumby. I'm getting the "lyrics of the moment" thread mixed up with this one.

L.A. proved too much for the man
So he's leavin' the life he's come to know
He said he's goin' back to find, what's left of his world
The world he left behind, not so long ago
He's leaving, on that midnight train to Georgia
And he's goin' back to a simpler place and time
And I'll be with him, on that midnight train to Georgia
I'd rather live in his world, than live without him in mine.

    How you doing Mr. Newch?

Ah got it. I could never take a Friday and Saturday class.

I'm doing great Mr. Fenway. I'm just procrastinating on my school work, which I do best. I'm also trying to promote my business/website to my friends, hoping that makes me some form of money. I do have to say, I did make a great purchase today on Amazon: I pre-ordered both the vinyl and CD of Fistful of Mercy's album. Can't wait.

    How are you?

It said "The gal you love is dead."

My hero and idol...John Lennon. Been listening to him for the last couple of weeks. Him and The Beatles pretty much. Just can't stop listening. No exaggeration, I listened to them and Lennon solo for the first 14 years of my life straight. They were the only thing I listened to then I discovered Zep and then Pearl Jam and then eventually branched out like crazy. But I always, always go back to them. I mean, I have a poster of Lennon hanging in my room, the four stills from my father's White Album vinyl, a poster of all The Beatles albums, and a couple frames of them. It's beyond an obsession I think.

EDIT: Forgot to add my uncle gave me the Imagine movie poster.

  • I feel the same way about The Muppet Show. Watched it all day every day of my adolescent life. I've branched out to Fraggle Rock, but I always go back to The Muppet Show. It was the perfect blend of music and comedy, which is how I've tried to model my life.

I think that's worked out fine for you.

What I really can't wait for is Fistful of Mercy album.

I had a fuckin doozy of a day. First I fixed the hole in my ceiling since I repaired the leaky vent pipe that the shitty contractors didn't cap when they built the house. Fenway knows what I'm talikng about. Then as I was washing my hands around 1pm I turned on the hot water and it was cold. For like 2 mins it was barely even warm. Went down to the basement to check the water to find it had locked out. Tried fuckin with it for a while and the damn thing kept cycling and shutting off.

    So....

off to Home Depot to buy a new water heater. By now it is about 2pm. $700 later I am home taking out the old one. Now I have to get the new one in or we don't have any water period. Thanks to my dad who was a huge help we got it in. It took freakin hours to cut all the copper, re-pipe the lines and re-route the flue pipe I am literally dead on my feet. I'm jealous of all of you who were chillin to some tunes, or chillaxin with some drinks tonight. I hope you all had fun. Tomorrow will be my day of rest as I will get a little one on one time with the couch and some NFL football. Also Dexter premieres tomorrow at 9 so I am looking forward to that. Now all I need is some news that Ed is coming to play Newch's backyard and I will be cool.

Well, sorry for the long ass post. I really was only waiting for the water to heat up so I can take a nice refreshing shower before bed. Peace.

Whoa. Youngster, you need to sleep in, then enjoy the day tomorrow with your feet up and hopefully a Patriots win. After, of course, a lovely hot shower...

Yikes. I won't tell you about my post-breakfast and pre-dinner naps...

youngster, you should've had some tunes on while working. It would've been much better.

While all of you are enjoying football, I'll be at the Big E, which my mom decides to tell me tonight that we're going there tomorrow. I was looking forward to working on a paper, take a break to watch the Giants, and then finish the paper and study for a couple exams. But no. I'll be having my iPod on on the way there and on the way home.
