I bought it a few months back off of eBay for about $5, shipping and everything. I really enjoyed, Ed looked just like a cute kid back then, most of us don't even realize how much he as grown before our eyes. I agree, would have loved to been college age in the early 90's, old enough to do and go where I wanted to and soak up the full experience of early 90's music. As for me, I was the only kid in my elementary school who was wearing baggy green jeans, flannel shirts, and work boots, lol. Funny story, they were all "found" items for me, even some from my dad's closet, but my mom had people calling her wanting to know where we got those clothes b/c their kids wanted some.
Hearts and thoughts they fade....
fade away...
I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.0 -

I remember we had just moved to Bellingham, WA from San Diego and were visiting in San Diego when it premiered. Saw it and loved all the references to the PNW bands and was so happy we'd moved there.
Love the whole thing and have watched it a few times since. It really was "hype" and was so funny at the time, with the whole flannel thing, since that is what we wear here, flannel and fleece. lol Of course, loved all the PJ appearances and other less known bands. It really is a pretty cool doc.
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."0 -
I watched it on tv, twice, but approx 45 min long version as a part of some music series. They kept Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Andy Wood, but left out some of Mark Alm, smaller bands, and some of Eddie's talk. He and his girl look both high as. Anyway, glad I finally saw it in full. Can watch those kind of things forever.
By the way, my font is giant, and I have no idea how to get it back to normal. Every other window has normal font, just 10c is huge. Are there some settings here that I have upset or what?0 -

Thanks. I tried that first, but impatient as I am, jumped to something else, as it didn't work immediately. I had to scroll to the left and right just to read comments. Ah, the plight. 0 -
Great film indeed. IMO, the Soundgarden (f'in amazing performance), the PJ (Not For You), and the Cobain vigil (playing Lanegan's River Rise in the background) are the best parts of the film. So much talent rose from one city. Not sure if we'll ever see something like that again. I'm fortunate to say I grew up during those times

Be sure to check it out if you haven't.0
