    I miss living in New England for a lot of reasons - the biggest being able to see PJ regularly without traveling. Still working on a plan to get back. Hopefully in time for an Ed show in CT (although I certainly wouldn't complain if he/they swung through Providence for the first time ever).

    Happy Sunday everyone! Football and homework today! Don't care for the 1:00 games but at 4:15 I will be watching the Patriots whoop the Jets but the important game is the Sunday night game, Giants/Colts.

    1:00 games yesterday were nothing great...gotta love the Red Zone channel on DirecTV for those days
    Jets beat the Pats!!!! :o Who woulda thunk it?? Dirty Sanchez :lol: I love a good Brady beat down!
    Manning Bowl II - wowza! I really thought the Giants would put up a better fight than that!!! Peyton is the man....and Im oh so glad to see their Defense has improved amazingly!! Giants could hardly convert the first down... its a no pressure year for the Colts and Co...but, recovering from losing the super bowl...my expectations arent so high...

    and now, its back to reality...Monday :(

    twisted thoughts, how on earth are you a Colts fan? I am befuddled by that. I thought you were cool until I learned you rooted for a team led by a neanderthal.

    People in CT have such an identity crisis when it comes to sports, at least in my experience. You have people who are Sox/Pats, Sox/Giants, Yanks/Pats, Yanks/Giants, Mets/Pats. That's what happens when your state isn't important enough to support your own franchise. Sorry, that was a little mean. I'm in kindof a shitty mood today.

    ok---so i had about 10 minutes to kill & i created on of those movies for the EVCT campaign. i'm warning you...it's not that great! :lol: it's a conversation between Eddie & Newch. Newch is trying to convince him to come to CT.

    First of all, we have no pro team here. We had the Whalers until they took them out. We could've had the Pats here but that owner was a douche bag. The only team we have close to a pro team is the UConn Huskies, which the whole state likes. But I'm a Yanks/Giants fan, which you already know that.

    What really makes me the most mad about it I think is like I said, everyone jumpin on the bandwagon...There are so many fans of the women's basketball team...these people dont even watch or care about sports, but come college basketball season everyone acts like they have this great connection to them...
