    There is quite a spread of time-zones too! It's been a while since I was drunk before lunchtime. Advantage of the board is threads tend to wait. I have a feeling this could either be a brilliant or a fucking terrible idea - I'm pretty certain we would get some good verse out of it though!!

    How about saturday (all day / night) - or do you see it as being real-live-time merriment and spontaneous profundity dangdang? Knowing you probably yes. You should organise cos I could probably make even the most rampant festivities a bit too earnest.

    Without thinkin, he says
    “Don’t you gotta run home”
    but what he really meant was
    [let’s quit dancing…for you someone’s already waiting]
    she read him
    so when he says, “still … it’d be nice to hear the music”
    she said, “no… I better run home”, really meaning
    [someone’s waiting]

    they’re fast fading

    One of the few verses of yours that I couldn't immediately make out - was getting clearer sense after re reading - is quite dense, probably a reality out there frozen in a late night blues bar. I feel you have more to say acrossOceans......

    acrossOceans - your poem was literally making my eyes expand sideways out of my head - I'm not sure I've felt like that since my last ever reefer in 1996 (I know, sad isn't it?) You seem to have this way of writing with a lot of SPACE in it - not quite sure how you do that.
