NY Metro Area EV ticket math

Assume: Ten Club only gets 10% of the available tix.

  • Capacity of NJPAC = 2500
  • Capacity of United Palace Theater = 3300

+
  • For each venue, there are only 250 and 330 tix available respectively.
  • That means there are only 125 and 165 PAIRS available.

Conclusion: Your chances of getting tickets (unless you are Eddie's mom) = .0000000%.

    but the odds are better for there, right?

    absolutely!
    knew it would be a tough 10c ticket to score. i've always been so lucky in the past, so bound to get shut out sometime. today was my day. i am saddened, but happy it wasn't a full-out pearl jam show, and just seeing pearl jam......not too heartbroken. i WILL get into night 2 NYC, but yea.....was hoping to keep up my lucky streak.

    I guess I beat the odds, I went 2-3, and my brother went 1-3.

    I'll be at NYC 2 and Newark.

    woo. got my tickets for NJPAC but not through the 10c. I'm a member at that venue so my account gets privileges, such as ordering tickets before they go on sale to the public. I'm especially thankful as well, because I knew I'd get shut out of the 10c presale.

    A valid point. But if someone wants to go to all the shows, why should we stop them? It's not fair just to tell someone they can't go.

    It only holds 1200 people, but since I am a member there, I get the same privs. I can dream, right?

    Nobody is stopping them from getting tickets on their own.

    It has nothing to do with fair. If a person wants to go, let them go. It really isn't all that fair, but it's not like we should prevent people from going. Life isn't fair. Were in a capitalist society, not a communist one. If people wanna try to go to all the shows, let them. I have no issue with it.

    do you understand as the author of this thread posted these are tiny venues, it should have been one show per member, if you want to go to more than one you should have to do it outside of 10c. . .we all pay member dues, we all should be given equal chance to go to at least one show

    Thank you. Some members cant go because of where they live. It's not like you are entitled to tickets to every show. You get an opportunity before other people. And if you don't get them, you don't get them. It just happens.
