So I got back to Colorado on the 1st after having being on the Pearl Jam tour since Bonnaroo. I went to see STP at Red Rocks the next night and they put on a pretty killer show, problem was I couldn't enjoy it. I am so disgustingly addicted to Pearl Jam that nothing else can even come close. Does this happen to any of you?
I can't wait for the Ed shows and a little Liam Finn action as well.

Yep, I made it to 3 of the April gigs and I am pumped to see him in Chi Town if I can get my hands on the tix. It just sucks because after every PJ event everything else sucks for awhile. I am headed to see Petty for two nights at the Gorge in August as well and I am hoping that will start to shine a light at the end of the tunnel for me. Never been to the Gorge so I am excited for that. It's just so flippin' hard to get excited for anything else when PJ is it for you. Close minded maybe but that's it for me and always has been. Not many people understand and they think I am a nut case when I try to explain. It's hard coming off a tour. You live in a fantasy land for 3 weeks, partying and seeing your favorite band every other night and then you get home and IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can you not enjoy STP at Red Rocks?

I love Pearl Jam as much as the next guy but can still get into other bands. The Pilots 2001 show at Brixton Academy is up there with some of the best gigs I've ever seen (I've been to a lot), they were astonishingly amazing. Wish they'd come over this way.
