I found that the old pit had more topics. i spend time on the MT and alot of the treads are on the same topic. not alot of diversity which the old Pit had.

So, all the flirting I threw your way in a desperate attempt to penetrate the inner circle of cool kids was all for naught?

I miss how fast new topics would pop up on the old board.

but I've made better friends, real friends since it's switched over.
    Peace, Love.

Wolf and I are blood brothers... but only in the sense that we'd both like to spill the other's blood.

old pit = group house with comfy, but smelly old lounge; scratched coffee table covered in bottles, ashtrays and cds; tv blasting rage (australians will understand ;) ); posters on the walls; lawn that needs mowing; tramp out the back (with people ontop and under  ; open doors; closed doors; friends strolling in and out; cars in the driveway; neighbours whining about the noise; cops telling us to turn it down ... with a smile on their face; sunshine; sunsets; laughter; opinions; dates made; parties had ......

new pit = new high rise units; shiny tiled floor; stylised colour scheme; new plasma with matching surround sound, but limited to under halfway; manicured gardens; brand new car in the drive; exclusive and referenced tenants only; strict body corporate management; no noise policy; carpark out the back, where the old tennents hang out ..... sometimes ......

This is spot on! I was never a regular (in as much as like Bostonlou, Metsfan, Heineken Helen, etc), but i always felt like i could pass through and find a place to crash in the '03 board (i joined in '06, so i think that was the '03 board).
