C'mon now, let's be realistic - it's hardly as if their past behaviour justifies any such accusations!

(To be really realistic, I'm sure it's not their fault - they can only announce what PJ's management gives them the okay to. It's probably frustrating for them to, but they're not the ones calling the shots. Given that this is info is clearly "out there" now, it seems silly to hold back the announcement - just do it and get it over with already...)

I doubt 10C has any control what an indie shop overseas does. If indeed whatrecords jumped the gun, I think they still have to stick to their "info dates" unless instructed by management. IF this is a legit product.

All that we need from 10c is a simple message in response to the email queries they've received, stating that they are unable to comment at the moment, but will/will not have an announcement in the near future. If there is to be a release of some kind in 6-7 weeks, they certainly know about it. They may not have all the details finalised, but they know about it.

If this is a bootleg/unofficial release, then they sure as hell know that, and could easily squash all rumours.

I don't think this will be a bootleg or unofficial release. Tim over @ What Records has been doing a hell of a job. He won't post something that's phony like this.

Aaarghhh! This is all driving me crazy! To buy or not to buy, that is the question.

I think I may just take What Records up on their very generous deposit offer and if I end up losing ~ $15, then no big deal. However, I plan on waiting until Monday before I make any decisions to see if any more info. comes out.

The thing that I find most fishy is that both What Records and Play are purporting to sell something that they have little to no information about. I would think that if Universal contracted with them to sell it, and to start the pre-orders now, that they would have also given the retail outlets all of the information about the product.

Unless this is some sort of tricky market research scheme to find out just how crazy us PJ fans really are about our limited release vinyl!

if its pressed to order(as stated) then you have no fears in waiting for the 10c sale or a few more weeks at most ..

then it will be pressed on pre order numbers and then a few more incase.

you're all a bunch of cry babies... 10C will do it when they're ready to make THEIR announcement... i don't give 2 shits what some company in the UK says and neither should they... clearly someone jumped the gun... they shouldn't have to respond because of it

if you already pre-ordered and now you're crying because you're getting cold feet then thats your own damn fault for being so impatient

sounds like this isnt out til november if it comes out at all so whats the rush?? im sure its about as "limited" as the 10 super deluxe that i still see at every record store today

I don't know why so many feel the need to order this immediately, before the 10 Club says something. It's made to order so they aren't going to sell out yet. Head on over to CVS or Walgreens, buy some chill pills and just wait for the news. You will probably save yourself some money.

i cant find the ten deluxe it in any store in the uk
no one is crying over pre ordering it everyone is thinking about ordering it
the news should come from the 10c first.
they should give a shit about small record store..they keep real music alive and vinyl would be gone with out them
alot of people need time to save for this so "whats the rush" is ok if you have cash to burn
