page 15 woow this is makingyou lot talk

    Yeah, it's getting kinda comical.

I propose that until we get official confirmation of what 'Death on two Legs' is, we use the rest of this thread for wild and fanciful speculation about what might be in the boxed set, and also general complaints / moaning about the tenclub and vinyl

I believe this might help hasten an announcement! My fantasy about the set is it will be some decent live stuff - good mixes - I don't really mind what tours - just a collection of live stuff that ends up sounding good on my turntable - I've thought this quite a lot when listening to the best official boots over the last few years.

OK, I'LL ASK AGAIN: WHAT IS THIS FIASCO EVERYONE KEEPS TALKING ABOUT RE: THE SIGNED TEN LEGACY??

I think also for those outside the US that ordered from 10c ... possibly tempted by the signing thing and hoping the 10c version maybe somehow different ... it ended up costing some of them close to double what it would have ordering from somewhere in there own country with postage and then customs charges. I know in the UK customs were around $60 and postage was quite hefty too. There were a lot of lessons learned ;)
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Ok Watson, here is my hypothesis, given that there is now a £10 CD of the same content coming

Death on two Legs will be the official; 'sequel' to Live on Two Legs - Where Live on 2 legs compiled choice select cuts covering the 'Yield' tour, Death on two legs will pull together the band's choice numbers from the 'Backspacer' Euro and U.S. tours this past 12 months into a similar package, for the first time in one collection and available outside the ten club.

    Any takers??

Sounds elementary, my dear tremors. I believe this is exactly what it will be.

Personally, if they're doing box sets, I'd rather they'd get on with the album reissues. But it's new PJ stuff - I'm not going to complain....

absolutely right, I ordered 3 and got royally clobbered

even got a mail from someone at 10c suggesting loosely that the band would come into the office for a day and sign as many boxes as they could before their wrists got sore.......Im not sure that really worked out in the end
  • After what happen with the ten deluxe box,10c stop shpping with the THIEVES (UPS).and fix the prices in the package, for not this happen again..so there will not be any problem...i still believe 10c version will be different.. 8-)

We're an impatient lot aren't we!!!

Its not due for release til the 1st or 2nd week of November - thats 7 or 8 weeks away, plenty of time for PJ to give us details on what the release actually is!!!

mind you, we'll probably get word from 10C AFTER its been released!!!

I'm still debating the boxset from WHAT Records, will cost me £62 without knowing FULL details but with the cd on Play I might pre-order that now and if the release is naff, cancel it before release.

    I'm still thinking it'll be a 2010 tour release.

What Records does specify that cancellations will not be accepted as they are made to demand and What Records need to call in their order based on the orders they receive. So, you pre-order, it gets made, you get it.

That's kind of the way I read it too. I think we're all being impatient because we are afraid that we might miss out on this by not ordering from What Records, since it seems they are only ordering what is pre-ordered. If for some reason Ten C doesn't offer this, we could be left out in the cold, but it makes way more sense for those of us in the states to order from Ten C. I was also wondering if it was easy to get the Ten box set from Ten C or if it was like some of the "limited quantity" sells?

I am at peace with my lust.....for Eddie.

Q: you have the right to return any item purchased on the internet (through a business) within 7 days of receiving it, no questions asked.

"Due to it being manufactured to order it is sold on a firm sale basis. You order it you have no cancellation on this one."

Can they do this? Just cause they state it do you still not have your statutory rights and would be allowed return it for a full refund? Reason is I have no problem pre-ordering this but if its a boot (which at this stage I doubt it is but there's always a but!) Im not interested.
