Nevermind and Ten are both legendary and all but for me personally, only like 7 songs stand out for me on each album. and also think that In Utero and Vs are better.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. I thought Nirvana to be very interesting. Amazing Album........Nevermind is.
I looked at my Nirvana Box collection this weekend and just stood amazed as I thought of Dave Grohls career since the Nirvana Days.
Ten is still my alltime favorite tho!!The best use of Life is Love.
The best expression of Love is Time.
The best time to Love is Now.
I'm never as good as when you're there.........0 -

I've always considered Ten to be Pearl Jam's weakest album, but I still like it over Nevermind. That's not to say that I dislike Nevermind, just that it can't touch anything Pearl Jam has done.0

I don't even own Nevermind
I've obviously heard all of it a lot of times (there's no getting around hearing it played everwhere) but I've never found Nirvana interesting.Well, do you need a lot of what you've got to survive?0 -
this isn't even a serious question.
ten obviously
and smells like teen spirit is not even in like the top 100 songs of the 90s in my eyes. in popularity, yes it would be number one. there are faaaar better nirvana songs, and many, many, MANY better songs from other bands in the 90s. for example: most of pearl jam's catalogue2006: Hartford
2008: MSG 1, Hartford, Mansfield 2, Ed Solo NYC 1
2009: London (O2), Philly 1, 2, 3, & 4
2010: Hartford, Boston, MSG 1 & 2
2011: Ed Solo Hartford
2012: Philly (MIA Fest)
2013: Worcester 2, Brooklyn 1 & 2, Hartford0 -
Ten.
Better question:
Pearl Jam Unplugged or Nirvana Unplugged? When Jesus said "Love your enemies" he probably didn't mean kill them...

I really have to disagree with you, smells like teen spirit is with no doubt in the top ten of it, and even of the biggest songs of ALL time0 -

i agree with both "Pjfanalive" and "this is not for you"2005: Borgata 2, Philly

I was more of a Nirvana fan then PJ fan when I was younger. I would have to call it a draw. Both albums are great and mean alot to me.
Saw Nirvana in October of 1993 and saw my first PJ show in July of 1995.0 -
both are great. nirvana was much more intense emotionally (more like listening to john lennon) and PJ more musically interesting and just fun to hear.
if eddie and kurt were in a band, eddie would be the lead singer and kurt would write most of the songs (and sing a few too).0 -
i think a more appreciative album comparison would be ten vs dirt. i mean honestly how the hell can you not respect old school AIC.5/28/06, 6/27/08, 10/28/09, 5/18/10, 5/21/10

i dont really car to compare the ttwo.. but nevermind has aged a helluva lot better..
ten's production has rendered it a period piece. nevermind still sounds as vital and as fresh as it did back when i first heard it..
drain you is the best songg on there, for mine.0 -
i think ten is better all around... nevermind is a little more front loaded IMO... gets a little too dark and slow at the end for my taste... id say theyre even if you compare the best songs off of both tho0
-
Nevermind has some incredible high points, but overall it gets a little weak. The singles stand out but some songs just get annoying. Ten is a much better piece of art.5/24/06 - Boston
5/25/06 - Boston
6/28/08 - Mansfield
6/30/08 - Mansfield
