DLC would be fine, just give us SOME word on this. Release a big pack like the Who or Queen got.

+1 Something would be better than nothing at this point. I think that a lot of us have gotten our hopes up about a PJ Rock Band, and it would be ashamed if it doesn't happen.

Forget Rock Band! Pearl Jam needs to sign up with Guitar Hero and make their very own dedicated game like many other bands are doing today. Get the band in their studio & sign the deal. Get the whole band for a few day's to wear those stop motion tech gear's under the green screens so we can get some sweet Pearl Jam graphics of the band in the game. Let the band & the company decide what songs they want on their game; let it be a surprise for the fan's. Forget the voting & what not.

No. Guitar Hero treats these games like shit. The soundtrack would be like twenty Pearl Jam songs, and thirty songs by other bands. The last game they did was GH: Van Halen, and that had so little fanfare that only the die hard music game players knew it was out. Rock Band all the way.

That's one thing I do hate about Guitar Hero. When a band releases their own game, there are dozens of other songs on the set list not even covered or sung by the band. It's just a few tracks the member's like of a certain band. Would very much like a dedicated Pearl Jam game where it's all Pearl Jam & you are playing as look alike member's of Pearl Jam. And a treat would be playing at famous known arenas with their stage setup tour era's. I don't mind Rock Band, I got both 1 & 2 with the whole kit, but I just like the guitar/bass mechanics of Guitar Hero then Rock Band.

First off, if I came off a bit harsh in my previous post I'm sorry. But second, I agree with you in some ways. I on the other hand, prefer RB's setup, but there are a lot of the GH elements I would like. I.E. band avatars, famous venues, more hands on then the cinematic, biographical feel of B:RB (which is a FANTASTIC game if you don't have it).

I don't ever recall an announcement of a PJ dedicated game, just a project. As much as we'd all love for a PJ:RB release I just don't see the mass appeal for that said game. The best we can hope for is more PJ DLC which I say wait for RB3 to give it keys and pro charts.

I was a bit bummed not seeing a PJ track on the RB3 setlist, here's hoping for some PJ DLC around the release of RB3.

No worries! :) I've only played a few hours of Beatles Rock Band. It was great. The double/triple vocals is top notch & the cinematics too. If Pearl Jam can pull something like this, it would be great. But the game was pretty easy. The guitars & bass was very easy even on hard. With the release of Rock Band 3, see how thing goes. I'm gonna pick it up anyways, but also pick up the next installment of Guitar Hero. This time I'm thinking on using the PS3 then the Xbox 360. Just for this once. I pretty much pimped out my PS3. Will be well worth the try.

Just release the songs as DLC, forget the "game".

    Bump it to Mt. Crumpet.

I usually don't care much about what happens with things one way or the other, but damn, at least give some sort of update. There was bunch of hoopla about this when it was first announced and then it just died. If it's dead, simply tell us. I'm thinking about just creating my own custom RB songs with whatever setlist I want using some of the hundreds of bootlegs that I have as the source.
