My girlfriend, who has heard the hits before, has been going through my iPod and listening to PJ albums when she feels like it. She will sit down at pearljam.com and read the lyrics while she listens. She needs to know when the album came out, which drummer was with them at the time. Just general knowledge.

She started out with Riot Act. She loves it, as do I. Next she wants to go to Vs. to see the difference in music and lyrics over the span of 10 years.

All in all, probably my least favorite 'legitimate' PJ tune. The lyrics are dark and have no redemption in them, the music is boring and doesn't fit the lyrics... blech. It doesn't know what it wants to be.

no redemption?! eddie thought the world, but he realized that the world though him... what an epiphany!
