Well I'm glad you took the time to note your ambivalence.BeerBaron wrote:Meh.
I saw them open for Death Cab in Toronto last year. They were good but nothing to write home about.0 -
I can't believe I'm missing Kings.
Haven't heard much of Ted Leo. Will have to check them out.0 -
Ted Rocks!
Jeff has always been a big fan and I've been wanting them to open for PJ since '03
It is going to be weird seeing him on a big stage after seeing him in small venues.
If you are checking him out for the first time be sure and start with his older stuff.. His new album is his weakest IMO but he doesn't play much of it liveNashville '00

Yeah, MSG will be my 7th and 8th ted leo shows. It will be absolutely bizarre to see him in that big a place.0

I'm stoked. I'd prefer KoL but Ted Leo is great."I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV0 -
I saw Ted Leo back in October/November and it was an awesome show. For some reason the turnout was absolutely terrible, though. There were no more than 25 people. I know Regina, Saskatchewan isn't a large market by any means but that was just embarrassing.0

The largest crowd I've seen Ted Leo play for was one to two thousand outdoors at Coachella ,but only at the Trocadero or Starlight Ballroom in Phlly indoors. It will be different , but I'm a big fan and can't wait. Looks like PJ hit two opener homeruns."Buy the ticket, take the ride"
Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
"If I wanted you to understand, I would have explained it better"

Never really got into Ted but I am so pumped KOL will be opening the shows I'm attending...Detroit '98 - Detroit '03 - Toledo '04 - Grand Rapids '04 - Kitchener '05 - London '05 - Grand Rapids '06 - Cleveland '06 - Detroit '06 - Chicago '07 - West Palm Beach - Tampa '08 - Toronto '09 - Indy '10 - Buffalo '10 - Toronto '11 - London '130
