Here was some information that I received today via e-mail from 10c. Looks like anyone who purchased the cd thru 10c will be able to select shows from the vault.
"BACKSPACER HITTING STORES NOW....
The Target version of the CD and the iTunes version contain 2 free concert downloads chosen from a list of 11 PJ shows. Stay tuned for details on free concert downloads from the vault through the Ten Club version of the CD."
These were the words I was looking for: "Stay tuned for details on free concert downloads from the vault through the Ten Club version of the CD."
That e-mail from the Digital Lounge today was hard to read. Was the text in black against a black background? I have to highlight the whole email to see the text and I missed that part today.
Huge buzzkill... I love the 10c but............. this had a chance to be something awesome and I would have definitely bought another cd at Target in addition to the one I preordered from the 10c if these were going to be true vault shows. Now I'll just stick to the 10c version since there's no need now for the Target one.

This is something in addition to the new album. They're hardly going to go crazy over the bonus material for fear of it overshadowing the main product itself. 99% of the people buying the album will probably notown any live recordings other than maybe Benaroya Hall or Live On Two Legs so for them it'll be a real treat. They're hardly going to be thinking "what can we put as bonus features to ensure our fans buy it" because they don't need to market the product to us in the same was as to Johnny Punter going into a store and maybe having to make a choice between the PJ album and something else. It's perceived added value to people like this that they're aiming for.
It seems people are more upset that the bonus material isn't what they want than they are excited about the new album.
Tell me about it! If people can't understand that the bonus material being offered is targeted (sorry for the pun) more towards the "casual" listener then they are either just plain stupid or spoiled.
Again, I got a e-mail today from the 10c stating that anyone who purchased the cd thru them should stay tuned regarding shows being available through the vault. Relax folks!! Geez.....

Was about tio start a new thread about the 10c extras (I was the one starting the April thread where 10clubbers were saying 10C had never talked about extras - HAHA!)
Anyways.
Any news on this?
If I bought something on Amazon instead of some other place because they offered "extra stuff" and I wouldn't have them in A YEAR - I would have been pissed. So I'm starting to get pissed now.
