If the day comes that you should fall
I will be there to catch you
and bring you to a place that's hidden from your fears
only known to you
only known to me
and no one else at all.

when the darkness comes
and there is nobody to show you the way
I will take your hand
and walk with you to a place
only known to you
only known to me
I will show you the way.

when the winter storm is blowing
and the cold is waiting at your door
I will be the fire burning in your heart
and the warmth to open your door.

only known to you
only known to me.

close your eyes and think of what could be
if you would only open your heart
and feel what I see
everything is waiting in this land of the rising sun
waiting there for you
waiting there for me.

I've been crying lonely tears standing in the rain
waiting for you
waiting for me
only you can take the rain away
and I need you.
