    So did I just totally miss something here? I thought the offer of the regular gatefold cover with no vinyl in trade for my misprinted one was intended to be a joke. Why would I send it back to anyone but the person I bought it from, if I was going to send it to anyone? I'm sorry if I either misunderstood youngster or all of you, I certainly didn't mean to be mean. :oops:

    Why would I want your misprinted one? I don't recall mentioning a trade at all. I was simply offering to send you a vinyl-less gatefold cover with the booklet so you wouldn't have to go through the hassle of sending it back to the seller for his opened one. That way you can keep the vinyl you have and have proper packaging to keep it in. My loss is your gain. That is all.

    I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding! After all the joking around of it must be worth $1 billion and me feeling bad for the seller because he might have had something worth more than he thought, I thought you were joking around that you'd be more than happy to trade me for your right-side-up empty one for free. Huge reading comprehension fail on my part!

    I thank you very much for your offer, but in the past couple of days I've grown to love my sad little misprinted cover. It makes me chuckle whenever I look at it. :D And since that is the cover the album came in, that is the cover where it shall stay. :D

    Funny this came up. I have a mint Vitalogy vinyl gatefold cover with a mint booklet as well, no vinyl. I stupidly left the vinyl in the sleeve on my futon near my record player a while back and my 2 yr old used it as a frisbee. I would be happy to send it to you free of charge so you don't have to go through the hassle of exchanging it with the seller. Like I said, no vinyl, just the booklet and the gatefold cover.....right side up of course. ;)

    Looks to just be a misunderstanding... but very cool of you youngster!! I had a copy of yield back in the day, left it at my friends house. came back to get it and we couldn't find the actual vinyl, just the booklet. a few days later he called me, turns out his little sister used it as a frisbee to play with their dog!!! UGH!!!!! Still to this havent been able to replace that!
    Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...
