When they opened with Release at Soldier Field in '95. It was my first PJ show and Release was/is my all-time fav PJ song. Great moment for me...

I think it was at the conclusion or towards the conclusion of the show Ed tries to show us a party trick he learned from some Aussies. He gets a coin and sticks it between his butt cheeks (pants on) walks across the stage and tries to land it in cup on the floor. He demonstrates it to the bewilderment of the crowd and misses it. Coin lands on the stage and everyone pisses themselves laughing. Huge anti climax! LOL
Ed looks at my sign looks at me 2nd row and gets into it !!!!

Even Flow, Melbourne 1 2006, front row, Eddie watches the band from right in front of me, turns and looks, we give him the nod and he leans over and hands me a bottle of half-full red. I pour some into my cup and go to hand it back, he shakes his head and mouthes "Keep it!"

I thought I couldn't single one out but you couldn't have said it better. That was an incredible moment. I was a Bruce fan since 1974 and to have them both together on the same stage, and be there for it was a moment I will never forget.

Recently.. Come Back Columbus 2010.. and Release Noblesville 2010.. First shows since my Mom passed back in November.. (Last time I talked to her was on the phone letting her know I was back home safe in Nashville after Philly Halloween last year) Bawled my eyes out both nights..
Back in the day.. Tad Gormley Stadium New Orleans September 17th 1995 Joey Ramone with Ed on Sonic Reducer.. You all have the holiday single with the wrong date, right?? That show was the defining moment of my 20's..
Lisbon night 1, 2006 - the call and response at the end of Wishlist. I still get chills listening to it. It sounded so beautiful to hear 15,000 people singing back at Eddie. It was my first proper Pearl Jam tour show so it was a big moment for me.
Lisbon night 1, 2006 - Black. I've never heard a crowd sing the 'We Belong Together' tag as loud as we sang that night. It was deafening. The high notes coming from Eddie at the end were ungodly. I've never heard anything like it.
Verona, 2006 - 'Release' opening the show in the rain. Can't get much more perfect than that.
Milano, 2006 - Best version of 'Daughter' I've ever heard. As close to perfect as you can get. I'm yet to hear a louder crowd at a show.
Wembley, 2007 - Immortality was so powerful that night. Mike never does a bad solo for this one, and on this night it was especially amazing. Gave me goosebumps.
Dusseldorf, 2007 - Eddie looking over to me and some friends for the original name of 'Breath' just before launching into the song. Seeing Eddie with tears in his eyes just before Baba O' Riley was emotional too.
Copenhagen, 2007 - Another emotional show for obvious reasons. Love Reign Over Me for the first time was very special. Does anyone remember the crowd slowly clapping when the band first came out just before they started Long Road? I remember feeling very soothed by it because I'd never heard that before.
Nijmegen, 2007 - Finally hearing Nothingman for the first time. The crowd taking over 'No more' brought tears to my eyes.
Belfast, 2010 - TREMOR CHRIST! NO WAY! Happy Birthday to Brendan. The opening trio of Sometimes, Do The Evolution and Animal was a total kick in the face. Amazing way to start a show.
Berlin, 2010 - the whole show from start to finish was pretty perfect. Such a happy, relaxed mood in the sun but also a very emotional show. That second encore is something I'll remember forever. And I can't forget Push Me Pull Me, Kick Out The Jams with members of R.E.M, and Ed asking the crowd "Are you happy?" which got a ridiculous response from everyone!

eddie told a story about pJ's time during the recording sessions for Mirrorball. He received a call that his old mentor/teacher past away. He then proceeded to tell everyone how he went into the studio and started ringing a D chord over and over again. That lone D chord turned into Long Road.
And it was a beautiful Long Road

Irons hurts his hand (or maybe had a drum issue) as they started to play Alive. Either way Irons needed 5 and so the band played Footsteps. Awesome. It was my 2nd show.

The acoustic set before Sleater Kinney. If you read the set...I am sure you know what I mean.
Seattle night II November 2000. I was worried they would stop playing music once the 2000 tour was over, so I flew to Seattle to catch the last two nights of the 2000 tour. When I heard them the final night start up Alive (something not played on both legs of the US tour) I knew they (we) were going to be alright.

By bringing out Neil Young instead, like Bruce did at the St Paul 04 VFC show.
