...does it sound like it could have come from? I just listened to it on you tube for the first time. I realize I'm late to the party on this one.

Let me first say that I really dig the vibe! It sounds like "vintage" PJ to me.

I don't think it would fit on any one previous album exactly but it's a blend of the most creative years: Vitalogy, No Code and Binaural...with the energy of Ten and VS....which is to say the least a f*cking amazing combo!!!

I hope the new album builds off of this song and it may have the potential to be the ultimate PJ masterpiece!

    If Pearl Jam releases another single from the Backspacer record, then I hope they release Of The Earth on side B of that single.

    This is a good question though but Mike told me it was meant to be on Backspacer but sounded crap in the studio so they been playing it live and are trying to make it work.

    I think it's a Backspacer B side Just my opinion. If we ever see that EP come out that was supposed to accompany Backspacer, I could see "of the earth" being on there- again just pure speculation on my part though.
