I'm open/Nothingman

Could there be a link between these 2 songs? Could the man from 'I'm Open' be Nothingman?

"A man lies in a room with no door"....jail cells have bars, not actual doors.

Is this line a hint: "He's alive but feels absolutely nothing, so is he? (Is he Nothingman?)

"Lying sideways atop crumpled sheets and no covers
He decides to dream...
Dream up a new self... for himself"....inmates spend most of their time in their cell.

"Could've been something, nothingman"....so he decides to dream up a new self, for himself.
Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self

    I remember once thinking Garden was the 4th song in the mamasan. But in between Alive and Once. So actually the second of what could have been 4 songs.
