My no longer un-opened Pearl Jam Vinyl
Two nights ago I was looking through my vinyl collection and noticed that most of the Pearl Jam studio albums were still unopened. NO Code, Vitalogy, & Binaural. I couldn't believe it. I've had these albums for at least 7 years now, but never heard them. Needless to say that I listened to them immediately.

That's why I'm finding it so frustrating to be just starting my vinyl collection and being mostly unable to find less expensive opened and played albums. As long as it isn't all scratched up and the cover is in halfway decent shape, I couldn't care less that it isn't in unopened, mint condition. 'Cause guess what, I'm going to PLAY it!

When I was a kid it was hockey/baseball cards. When I was a teen I bought lots of CD's. Now I've been amassing a bluray collection. For some people its more of a hobby trying to track the stuff down.
That being said I do spin my pearl jam vinyl from time to time. It justs that I do most of my music listening walking to and from work, which is in flac on my portable player. I spin vinyl when I have the time.
Collecting stuff can be a hobby for some people.. some people aren't like that. Its the way it us.
