I think it's great that this age demographic is attracted to the band. Very cool. Good taste in music, sir!

  • I was 14 years old when I fell in love with Pearl Jam. I bought myself a christmas present... 'The album Ten'. I was so proud that I had the best album of the world! Eddie's voice made me cry,... even when I was happy, there were tears... tears of happiness... I'm 30 years old now and I'm still crying when I'm happy en laugh when I'm sad when I'm listening to the PJ songs. It feels like the sound is familiar, dealing with my emotional thoughts and state of mind. I saw them first in Rotterdam, (Ahoy, Holland) when I was 16 years old and I was completely blown away. I saw them 13 years later in Antwerp, Belgium 2006, Madrid, Spain 2007, Düsseldorf, Germany, 2007, Werchter, Belgium 2007 .I'm still blowing away.... It will last forever...

  • I was about 14 or 15. So Ive only been listening to PJ about a year and a half, but Im just as obsessed as a 10 year fan. I have over 9 DAYS(complete 24 hour days) worth of PJ boots. I cant get enough.
My first PJ show to witness was at Bonnaroo. How is that for lucky?

It's funny that you are born in 1991 and that you are a PJ fan. Waw! Cool! In Belgium (Europe) people who like PJ are 30 years old. When I was in Boston in july, I notices PJ was still very popular... and even 15 years old like them...

Theres not too many young people at my school who even know who PJ are, its nice to see and learn when people my age like PJ. I remember when I first started listening to PJ, I thought how could this be so many peoples favorite band? Back then I only had about 2 studio albums. Then in a matter of days I became frantic for more and more.

16 years old in PE class in High School. The cool Older kids made me listen to Temple of the Dog. I checked it out because I was listening to alot of Soundgarden, AIC, RHCP, and was getting into Nirvana. From the 1st listen I was drawn to Ed's Vocals and the whole vibe of that Album. Then several months later Pearl Jam came to be and I've been a fan ever since. I missed going to 2 Pearl Jam shows with the guys from class in 92 because my parents wouldn't let me go downtown on a school night and the other show was about an hour away from home. So I missed a small PJ only show where they played "Angel" of all tracks, Doh! and the other show was the tour with Nirvana and the Chili Peppers. But I still had a good 1st PJ show when they were the middle band on the bill with Blind Melon and Neil Young.
    NERDS!
