Which Standard Do You WANT to Hear Live?

Having seen all the Philly shows and then a bunch more this year, most shows I see aren't going to feature too many songs I haven't heard. But along the way, I've also realized that I don't much care what they play, and that includes the typical Even Flow, Alive, etc. I'm just happy to be there and rocking out. We all poke fun at taking bathroom breaks during those opportune times, but I want to know, out of all these songs, which one could you hear at every show and never tire of it?

For the list, I just chose those played over 200x. I realize some of them aren't played almost every show anymore, but I couldn't think of any other criteria that wasn't completely arbitrary.

My choice: Given to Fly. I love the way they build to the chorus with Matt's drums now. Nothing revs me up more.

    I wouldn't get tired of any songs. They never play around we I live, so when they do it's a real treat and I breath of fresh air. They could belch "bugs"into a mic and I'd be happy.

    the third and last time I saw them in 2005, they OPENED with Betterman. I mean, who was the driving force behind that choice? They played Hail Hail next, so I just pretend that that was the opener! :lol:

    The only song that they have played at every show I've been to is Alive. And I'm not tired of it yet. It makes for a great, celebratory climax to any show.

    From the OP's list, the only others I'd be happy to hear every time would be RVM and Porch. The opportunity to jam on those songs makes them consistently variable (is that an oxymoron?!) so I just don't get tired of them.

    Alive and evenflow. People that bitch during evenflow setlists drive me nuts..... If it's so boring, they should go on stage, take mikes guitar, and play something better.

    Go. Go. Go. This is my favorite non mellow opener PJ song live. They could play it twice a night like U2 did with Vertigo a few years back and I'd be a happy man every time.

    I never get tired of Porch and Alive especially with the long rockin' jams.

    I've only been to three shows, so basically every song live is still a gem to me, I can't imagine how I could get tired of Even Flow. I'd love to hear SOLAT for the second time, also never got to hear Porch or Once. I don;t even mention Black, goes without saying that I could hear this song a zilion times and wouldn't be bored. Out of the list - my real dream would be to hear 'Hold On' live, but seeing that they played it only once so far, that's pretty much impossible. 'It's OK' tag on Daughter has a very special meaning to me as well, so that's another thing to put on the wish-setlist. Finally, they sometimes cover All Along The Watchtower, which is the song of my life. To hear them play this song.. I can't even imagine.

    Of course, the list of songs which I'd like to hear on a PJ concer is a lot longer, but the above are just highlights.
