    Feeling like it is happening so fast...too fast.

    That inevitable feeling that someone is going to drop the ball...again.


    I need to look ahead. Good things are happening but right now it just seems like a lot.

    A happy surprise! Mr. Unlost Dogs took the night half of the firehouse shift off and will be out at 7! And down to the marina we go... I love the Tiki Bar in the rain.

    Off to the summer party for my division at work.

    My plan:
    1. No more than 2 beers.
    2. Leave after 2 hours.
    3. Do not attempt to be witty in front of anyone higher on the ladder than executive director.
    4. Do not call people by the wrong names. Again.
    5. Do not use the word "fucker" or the phrase "what the fuck" unless absolutely provoked to do so.
    6. Do not mention that you know of someone on the West Coast who can slay with poetry, a guy from Idaho who commands a pack of killer weasels or a woman in England who enjoys tipples.

    Am I doing whats best for the Princess?

    Since she has so little time left,.... I would give anything to be able to stay home from work with her everyday,.... even if its to just watch her sleep because of the meds.

    I'm going to miss her so much.

    Probably too late to wish you luck - but hope you had a great time and didn't do anything daft like throwing up on the chief execs knee. Should also have put on your list - don't dance without any music, it might not be appropriate.
