BINAURAL live 2010 stats
By my count, Pearl Jam have played 21 shows so far this year (23 performances, if you count SNL and the Target Center thing). The shows have been amazing, the band is totally on and the set lists have been awesome...except they seem to be brushing 'Binaural' under the rug way, way too much. I'm pretty sure this means it'll come back with a vengeance in 2011. But, please PJ, DON'T FORGET BINAURAL!!! Check out these stats, it's very simple: song title, and # of times played in 2010 so far. (Europe only got 2 Binaural songs the whole time! They played "Light Years" once, and "Insignificance" once. Hmm.)

I'm an optimist, so I prefer to look at my life as "1/2 Full," even without much live 'Binaural' these days.
Don't make me throw out the 'Riot Act' stats...I'll do it! I know that's the other album they've been downplaying lately...didn't play a single 'RA' song at MSG2, which was my only show this year. Was I disappointed after the MSG2 show was over? HELL NO.
I went to two shows on backspacer tour and didn't get to hear one song from Riot Act.
I was hoping to hear at least one.
Uh oh, the stats on live 'Riot Act' in 2010 are BLEAK. Worse than 'Binaural.' I guess I'm more concerned about 'Binaural' since I like that album more (possibly my favorite). But geez, lots of good songs being overlooked by the boys right now. But hey, after this, I'll shut up and just listen to some 2000 and 2003 boots.

But I definitely could you more Binaural. It's a really strong album and the songs sound awesome live.
Ironically, one of the only songs on Binaural that I don't like very much opened the only show I went to in 2010 - "Of the Girl" in Newark. I like the album version but I've never liked it live, especially as an opener.
Correction. Avocado songs sound awesome live too.
This was the Backspacer tour. Probably when they get a little farther away from promoting it they'll spread everything around a little better.
