The only tip I can give you is wait until the concert is about to start or has started (yes, it would suck to not be in there at the beginning), but they dump their remaining tix for face or lower at that time... they've already made their profits by that stage.

MSG is the worst place EVER to go the Drop. Tickets outside MSG are all Fake tickets. If you do the Drop the day of the show the box office is kinda bought off and the left over scalpers have bought off the security guards running the line for the drop. 100% Corruption and no one can do anything about it.
Seriously, tickets weren't that hard to get for these shows, and they aren't in that big of a demand. Face value is over $90 with ticketmaster fees. Go buy a ticket for $120 on stubhub.
I have 2 tickets in section 416 (behind the stage) for face value $91.00 each after the service charge that I would be willing to sell you (or anyone interested) and they are real tickets.
Yeah I wouldn't trust the scalpers outside I remember when I saw muse there was a couple people being pulled to the side because their tickets were fake, your best bet is to go through fans on the forum (like me I have two extra ones section 101 for night 1 haha) or just go onto stubhub, they'll be a little bit more expensive but they'll get you in the building, and are 100% legit.
