I went because my GF is a huge Linkin Park fan.....and I wanted to see Chris Cornell anyway. I did see a few PEARL JAM shirts....and I was wearing mine of course. Just kinda weird how Linkin park & Cornell couldn't sell the arena out. 90% of the upper deck was empty.....THE BRAVERY were ok and I found BUSTA RYMES just funny as hell......he played mostly snippets of a few songs.
I was kinda pissed when Cornell, did dis EDDIE VEDDER by saying "There is no one he rather sing that song with" refering to HUNGER STRIKE with Chester from LINKIN PARK. Chris did bring his daughters onto the stage which I thought was cute.....and BLACK HOLE SUN did get a huge crowd reaction.....well mostly because he was walking through the crowd. Anyway got a lot of free give aways.....and saw hot chicks with big hooters :)

He was just probably just playing to the crowd, since I would assume most of them are there just to see LP. Chris Cornell post Audioslave sucks, the dude needs to get a clue and figure out that he isn't as famous/good as he thinks he is without Soundgarden or Audioslave behind him.
    32 shows and counting...

pathetic... everytime i hear anything from chris' mouth lately i lose more and more respect for him... we should add that to the board rules:

"you may not mention chris cornell or how much of a giant tool he has become"

matt needs to schedule a rock intervention ASAP

Although PEARL JAM should take something away from this concert. I bought a poster from the show.....and believe me, I think I am one of 30 people who did.....BUT they already came rolled in a huge poster tube. That was pretty cool. I think it may be a bit expensive for PJ since they usually sell out all there posters....but it was cool to get one (poster tube). I found it funny that you can't get a bottled drink they have to pour it in a cup.....but yet they give you an abnormally huge poster tube (bazooka size) that you can seriously hurt someone with, beat someone down with this tube, or chuck up on the stage.

    Sorry i found it funny

Friend of mine goes to DMB shows (feel free to hold it against him, I do) apparently they also give out tubes (or make them available with posters). It is always kinda retarded at the PJ shows when you see people coming away from merch stands with their posters and kind of look around trying to figure out exactly what to do with them.

It has nothing to do with safety. They want you to spill your drink and have to buy another one.

Phish sold the posters in tubes, and their posters sold out every night.

Really? I also thought they did it because they didn't want the band to get pelted with half empty soda bottles.

    We are both probably right.

In a way CHRIS CORNELL was lucky I had a cup and not a half empty soda bottle.....because when he made that remark " He rather sing HUNGERSTRIKE" with Chester from Linkin Park then any other person..... I would have pelted him in the eye with my soda bottle. :)
